The 22nd International Conference on Computer in Education(ICCE 2014)

2014년 11월 30일(일) - 12월 4일(목) 동안 일본 나라현의 Nara Prefectural New Public Hall에서 제22회 ICCE(International Conference on Computer in Education) 학회가 개최되었습니다. ICCE는 매년 11월말 아시아에서 개최되는 국제학회인데, 올해는 "Constructing New Fundamentals of Computers in Education for the Future"라는 주제로 개최되었습니다.

TELD Lab에서는 가상세계와 관련한 "Design of Embodied Learning in 3D Virtual Worlds for Pre-service Teachers"와 스마트교육과 관련한 "Educational Affordances of Smart Learning Applications in Science Education"의 포스터를 발표하였습니다. TELD Lab에서 이루어지고 있는 연구 분야에 관심을 가진 학회 참석자들과 생각을 공유하고 이야기를 나눌 수 있는 좋은 기회였습니다.

포스터 세션 외에도 키노트, 소규모 세션, 워크샵, 튜토리얼 등의 세션들이 virtual worlds, learning analytics, collaborative learning, seamless learning, artificial intelligence in education 등 다양한 주제들로 알차게 구성되어 있었습니다. 우리 연구실에서 현재 진행 중인 연구와 관련된 연구들도 많아서 관련지어 생각해볼 수 있는 좋은 기회였습니다.

23번째 ICCE는 2015년 11월 30일 - 12월 4일 동안 중국 항저우에서 "Leading the Direction of Education in Big Data Era"라는 주제로 개최될 예정입니다.
